Graduated with honors (Summa cum laude) March 1999 to July 2002 at the Autonomous University of Central America obtaining the baccalaureate in law. Also in March 1999 to April 2001 at the Autonomous University of Central America, he joined the School of Economics.
In July 2002 to October 2003, Andres graduated with honors (Summa cum laude probatus) from the Autonomous University of Central American and obtained his law degree as well as Public Notary. On January 28, 2004, he became a member of the Costa Rican Bar Association and the National Notarial Office of Costa Rica.
In June 2015, Andres graduated with honors from the University for International Cooperation UCI with a Masters in Business Law. In September 2017, he graduated from the International Diploma Program at INCAE Business School Lawyers and the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business with a degree in Business Administration. He practices in Spanish and English.
