Darren Kaplan joined Hoban Law Group as a student extern in 2016 during his 2nd year of law school and graduated in May 2018 from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.
In 2018, upon graduating from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and passing the Colorado Bar Exam, he became an Associate Attorney with the firm.
At Hoban Law, Darren work, primarily, in the practice areas of civil and commercial litigation, hemp, and regulatory compliance. Darren’s time with the firm in various legal support roles prior to becoming an attorney has prepared him well to sustain his growth in these distinct subjects. He is continually inspired by the nature of his work, his outstanding colleagues, and the clients he gets to work with.
During his time in law school, Darren focused on developing the critical skills of a lawyer. In addition to his studies and experience gained at Hoban Law, Darren represented clients from interview-to-resolution as a student attorney of Denver Law’s Criminal Defense Clinic. Additionally, Darren was a student advocate of Denver Law’s reputable National Trial Team, earning individual and team awards in the process, and held an externship with a Denver District Court judge.
Prior to completing his legal education at Denver Law, Darren received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida, completed his military service overseas, and attended his first year of law school at the University of Florida.
In Darren’s free time, he enjoys English Premier League Soccer, all genres of music, and sitting with friends for a great meal.
