Lisa Sweeney is Counsel to Hoban Law Group. Lisa is a leading attorney in the fast-evolving cannabis industry in Washington and beyond. She routinely offers innovative legal strategies to assist U.S. and International cannabis and hemp companies position for success in the cannabis industry. She helps her clients manage emerging and complex cannabis laws, with a particular emphasis on regulatory and compliance matters. Lisa takes pride in her strong client relationships, which allow her to hone in on each client’s unique needs and goals. Lisa also assists clients in the areas of the EB-5 Investment Visa Program.
Lisa received her bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri and graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law, where she was the technical editor for the Gonzaga Law Review. Upon graduation, Lisa worked as an Assistant Attorney General with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office representing several state agencies.
Lisa is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), National Cannabis Bar Association (NCBA), and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Lisa is the Los Angeles Chapter Chair for Women Grow.
A Washington state native that splits time between Washington and Los Angeles, Lisa enjoys hiking, boating, kayaking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
